What data I collect
Only what you type into the contact form: your name, your email and your message. When it arrives, the server adds your IP address and the language of the site to detect abuse. The form is intended for people aged 14 or over; if you are younger, please do not send it.
What I use it for
To reply to your enquiry and, if we keep talking, to prepare and manage a possible project. Nothing else: there is no newsletter, I do not build profiles and I make no automated decisions with your data.
Legal basis
Your consent, which you give when you send the form, and the pre-contractual steps involved when you ask me for a quote. Abuse control, including storing the IP address, relies on my legitimate interest in keeping the form working.
How long I keep it
Until we close the conversation and, at most, 12 months after your last message. If we end up working together, I will keep the data for as long as the relationship lasts and afterwards for the periods required by tax and commercial law.
Who else sees it
I do not share your data with anyone. To run the site I use providers that process data on my behalf under contract: Google Cloud (Google Ireland Limited), which hosts the site in data centres within the European Union; Resend Inc., which delivers the form message to my inbox; and my email provider, where I receive and keep the messages.
International transfers
Resend Inc. is a United States company. The transfers involved in delivering the message are covered by the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission, included in the data processing agreement I have signed with that provider.
Your rights
You can ask me to access your data, correct it, delete it, object to or restrict its processing, request its portability and withdraw your consent at any time by writing to hola@ferrodev.com. I will reply within one month. If you believe I have not handled your request properly, you can file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency at www.aepd.es.
Cookies
This site uses no cookies and no third-party analytics. Your light or dark theme preference is stored only in your browser; I never receive it and it is exempt from consent.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and the form includes measures against automated submissions. I apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, although no system is infallible.
